elimination method calculator

We use elimination method calculator, to find the value of the variables in the linear pair of equations. We say that the linear pair of equations can be solved by different methods.  One of the methods of solving the linear pair of equations is by elimination method.  In this method, we will equalize the constant values of one of the variables in both the equations and thus one of the variable in the two equations is eliminated. Also you can improve your skill in linear equation and inequalities. For this we take the following steps :
1.       We first multiply the given equations by any of the suitable numbers so as to make the coefficients of one of the unknown variables numerically equal.
2.      If we observe that the numerically equal coefficients are opposite in their sign, then we add the two equations which we get after the multiplication, else we will subtract one equation from the another one. For subtraction we need to change the sign of  the equation which is being subtracted and then one variable is cancelled.
3.      The resulting equation which we get after the addition or subtraction in linear equation in one unknown variable. Thus we get the value of one of the two unknown quantities in the two equations given above.
4.      Now we substitute the value which we have just calculated in any of the given equations.
5.      On solving the new formed equation, we will get the value of the second unknown variable in the linear equations. The two values of the two variables is the solution of the pair of the equations.
Thus if we put the values of the two variables in any of the two linear equations, we observe that these values satisfies both the given equations and hence it is the answer.
